Originally, black spruce was used by the Indians to maintain skin health. The intense essential wood oil was also part of their spiritual healing and cleansing rituals. The essential oil of the black spruce is distilled from the needles and branches of the Picea Mariana tree. It contains a lot of bornyl acetate – a chemical that promotes relaxation and calm. Start the day with the beneficial effects of Black Spruce – suitable for both topical and aromatic use. After a strenuous workout or whenever your body needs topical support, massage black spruce into the skin along with a carrier oil. Or you can apply it to the neck in the morning to promote harmony and balance.

  • Mix 1-2 drops of Black Spruce Essential Oil with Fractionated Coconut Oil and massage into your skin for beneficial effects
  • Use topically to soothe minor skin irritations
  • Try adding a few drops to your moisturizer – it will reduce blemishes and promote healthy complexion
  • Apply to the neck repeatedly throughout the day to promote harmony and balance
  • Aromatic: Use 3 – 4 drops in the diffuser of your choice.
  • Topical: Mix 5 drops with 10 ml of carrier oil for massage. Mix 5 drops with 5 ml of carrier oil as a bath additive. Mix 1 drop with 10 drops of carrier oil as a fragrance.
